Everyday cleaning instructions to keep the Sparmax SP-35 Makuep Airbrush functioning properly

Welcome to our SP-35 Airbrush Routine Cleaning page!
This page includes an instructional video to show the cleaning procedure required for color changing a makeup airbrush. Although we specifically target and use the ColorMyst makeup airbrush in these videos, these steps can be applied to most airbrushes used for the purposes of makeup.
If the color change is not significant and a mixing of the colors can be done instead of a full out color change, a total cleaning of the color from the gun may not be needed. An example of an acceptable mix in lieu of a color change would be adding some blush color to the foundation color already in the spray gun, thus tweaking a foundation color to prepare a blush. It is important to note, water will not remove makeup color from the spray gun. We advise using S/B Cleanser for makeup cleanup.
These steps are also sufficient to provide the gun with a daily clean up that should be part of an everyday cleaning routine to keep the spray gun functional and maintained. For more serious problems with the ColorMyst, such as difficult clogs or a suspected broken part, we suggest the teardown and reassembly of the spray gun as an option if the daily upkeep has proven insufficient.
