Routine Airbrush Cleaning
(Color Changes & Daily Cleaning)
This procedure addresses the amount of clean-up that may be required between color changes. It may also suffice if performed a bit more rigorously for day end clean-up. However, for optimum operation, we would recommend that the rigorous procedure (on our Airbrush Teardown and Reassembly page) be performed on a frequent basis.
If the color change is not significant, add some blush or color to the client's base foundation for example, then a totally clear spray after cleanup may not be required. For those of you coming from an airbrush tanning background, water will not suffice for makeup cleanup. We recommend the S/B Cleanser for your cleaning purposes. A small bottle comes with the starter packs. It is also sold in 16oz bottles.
