The Nuress tanning system is easy and quick to use and only takes a few minutes to spray tan your entire body for an
instant streak free flawless looking tan. The spray unit consist of three pieces: a spray gun with attached tanning solution cup,
a quiet hvlp technology turbine unit (motor and impeller fan to produce air flow), and a hose (not shown) that attaches the two. For
storage, the spray gun locks onto the turbine unit with a simple twist, and the hose pops off.
The pack includes the spray system and is complemented with a skin care system including Smooth Polish
for soft exfoliating and mild cleansing, Moisturising Lotion with Vitamin E and Aloe Vera for softer smoother skin,
Tanning Solution with skin conditioning Aloe Vera and nose plugs and goggles for your safety while spraying.

High Performance LVLP and HVLP Spray Tanning Systems

The 5 minute tan. The 3 minute tan. The two minute tan. Claims abound for speeding up the airbrush tanning process -- which
takes about 15 minutes. What's the truth and what does it mean to you? Airbrush tanning produces a superior result, but can be
limiting as your clientele (and time pressure) increases. Ultimately, what's important is your scheduling. How often can you schedule
appointments and can you keep to your schedule. Realistically, any process that can cut the spray tanning procedure in half will
be more than adequate.
How can the time be reduced? Basically, an airbrush sprays a maximum pattern of about 2 1/2 inches. A mini-spray gun airbrush, as described below,
can spray about a 5 inch pattern. An hvlp gun will spray a 5 inch or larger pattern. There's no big secret. To cut down time without sacrificing
quality, the spray pattern must be increased without significantly increasing the amount of solution deposited on a particular area of skin. To pull
this off requires a higher airflow rate -- meaning a bigger compressor or an hvlp turbine system. Realize that an airbrush will always have a higher
degree of control on fine details.

The High Performance Airbrush Series

The Tanning Store offers two approaches to high performance spray tanning. The first aproach utilizes an optional pistol grip spray gun (actually a large
airbrush) that sprays a 5 inch elliptical background spray pattern. This approach requires an Iwata Power Jet or Power Jet Lite compressor to
provide adequate air flow. It is an ultra-quiet system and provides the most flexibility. You can still use an airbrush for fine tanning details
and for services such as airbrush make-up.

The HVLP Series
|
|
In addition to the high performance airbrush series, The Tanning Store also also offers HVLP spray tanning systems. Briefly, hvlp systems come in two classes - turbine systems and hvlp conversion systems.
HVLP turbine systems are driven by turbine motors (essentially vacuum cleaner type motors) rather than compressors. HVLP conversion systems have historically required larger compressors and have not been used in spray tanning.
However, recent advances in gun design have enabled the development of hvlp spray guns that require as little as 1.8 CFM (cubic feet per minute) and compressors in the 3/4 horse power range.
A high volume of air is used to atomize the spray at a very low pressure, usually well under 10 PSI, resulting in less overspray and bounceback. Excellent atomization and a wide spray pattern
reduces application time without sacrificing quality. First generation HVLP tanning systems tend to be quite loud however, similar to a shop vacuum cleaner. They also were overpowered for the application, employing too many turbine stages or using too large a needle/nozzle.
However, the AccuSpray HVLP turbine unit shown below is quiet and employs needle/nozzles more appropriate to spray tanning.
The UltraMist 3G, derives from HVLP conversion technology, and has many advantages for spray tanning. In fact
it lies in the LVLP subset of HVLP that has the softest spray and the least overspray and material usage -- all in the quietest hvlp type unit on the market.
